Silampil Pathinoru Adalgal is a Bharatanatyam thematic production by Sakthi Fine Arts Singapore, inspired by the Tamil epic Silapathikaram. The work explores eleven symbolic dance segments (“Pathinoru Adalgal”) depicting devotion, valor, and cultural heritage.
About the Performance
The choreography narrates the journey of Kannagi and Kovalan from Silapathikaram, weaving rhythm, storytelling, and traditional Bharatanatyam aesthetics into eleven distinct dances. Each segment highlights an emotional and narrative milestone drawn from Tamil literature.
