Silambu - Tamil Youth Festival 2022

Training was given to the interested students to select the topic and to do their research on various perspective of Silapathikkaram. In a very short period, they could come out with their own topics based on their interest. The research begins and I was amazed to see the students could able to speak on trade, city, characters, truth, Justice, music and arts and connects it to Tamil values. Our sincere appreciation to each and every student and to their parents, teachers and family to allow them to cultivate their interest in Tamil Classics.
 

Preparing the students for a dance drama is yet another segment that requires meticulous attention. Costumes, makeup, characters, lightings and many more have to fallen in place in a very short time. After the performance many asked me how the student could express the story very nicely, how do you train them on expression? There is a tremendous support behind the scene with the whole set of professionals like musicians, designers and choreographers. A big thank you to all of them.
